Advertising

MagBrace may display advertising from third-party networks, including Google. Advertisers have no involvement in what is written here and no advance sight of it. Ads are labelled by the network that serves them and are separate from the articles.

Affiliate links

Some pages may include affiliate links — including, potentially, links to products on Amazon. If you follow such a link and make a purchase, this site may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Where a page contains affiliate links, it will say so on the page itself.

A commission never buys a recommendation. If a product is mentioned, it is because it fits what the article is about.

How the content is written

Every article on this site is written and edited by hand for MagBrace, from research into the mineral, its history, and how the jewelry is actually made. The bracelet photographs are our own. Corrections are welcome and get made.

The one rule that never moves

MagBrace makes no health or medical claims of any kind — not in articles, not in captions, and not in anything sponsored or linked. Historical and folkloric beliefs about hematite are described as tradition, never as effect. No advertising relationship will ever change that.
